Week 18 Players of the Week

The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today the Week 17 Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week winners. Utica City FC’s Taylor Walter Bond earned the offensive win and the Baltimore Blast’s Mike Zierhoffer won the defensive honors.

Walter Bond scored three goals for the Utica squad against his former club on Sunday afternoon. The forward has 19 points on the season as he journeyed up the East coast. He’s enjoying his highest points per game average since 2018 with his new team.  

Mike Zierhoffer allowed only two goals and made 32 saves in Week 18. He came away with a clean sheet on Sunday shutting out the visiting Mesquite Outlaws and making 18 saves. He also added to the offensive attack with a goal of his own to conclude the game.
