Sidekicks Fall to Savage in Noche De Fiesta Game

Allen, Texas (March 1, 2025) – The Dallas Sidekicks faced the Chihuahua Savage for the third and final time this season.

The first quarter was strong defensively for the Sidekicks, not allowing a Savage goal until 12 minutes into the quarter, scored by Hugo Puentes. 57 seconds into the second quarter, the Sidekicks responded with a goal by Felipe De Sousa. Three minutes later, the Savage regained the lead with five unanswered goals by Bryan Macias, Luis Medrano, Jaime Alejandro Romero, Pedro Casteneda, and Puentes. At halftime, the score was 6-1 in favor of the Savage.

The Savage continued to dominate the game with two more goals to their five goal lead, scored by Cesar Ruiz and Jorge Ríos. Late in the third quarter, the Sidekicks responded with a goal by Flavio Guzman. A minute into the fourth quarter, the Savage added to their lead with another goal by Ríos. In the last minute of the game, the Savage sealed their victory with a goal by Cesar Ruiz, ending the game 10-2.

The Sidekicks aim to bounce back tomorrow as they hit the road to face the St. Louis Ambush for the second time this season. They continue their road trip next weekend as they face the Texas Outlaws on Saturday, March 8 before returning home on Monday, March 10 to host the Tacoma Stars.
