Players of the Week: Week 3

The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today the Players of the Week for Week 3. 

Charlie Gonzalez of the San Diego Sockers,had a five-point night with three goals and two assists including the game-winning goal in Tacoma. The season may be new but Gonzalez finds himself on the leader board in almost every category including third in points per game average alongside teammates Kraig Chiles and Gabriel Costa. 

Empire’s Stefan Mijatovic is feeling at home on the West Coast with his new team. He scored one goal and recorded one assist and five blocks to win on the road in St. Louis. Mijatovic is now second in the league for blocked shots.. 

Chihuahua Savage’s Iván Muñoz dethroned Kansas City’s Neto, also nominated, for the Goalkeeper of the Week honors. Muñoz had 13 saves and only four goals allowed. He also recorded the game winning goal in Chihuahua’s win over Outlaws Thursday night.
