MASL COMBINE DRAFT TO BE BROADCAST LIVE ON TWITCH

The Major Arena Soccer League is proud to announce that the 2023 MASL Pro Player Combine Draft hosted at the Utica University Nexus Center in Utica, NY will be broadcast live on Twitch this Sunday, October 22 at 3pm EST.  

The MASL Pro Player Combine powered by Capelli Sport will feature over 115 players hand selected and invited to attend through a thorough vetting process. The players will compete over three days to prove their abilities to the league’s 11 U.S. based teams. At the conclusion of the Combine all remaining players will be entered into the draft with the league’s 11 U.S. based teams all selecting their top candidates through a three-round process. 

The broadcast will be hosted by familiar voices. Utica City FC’s play-by-play announcer Ray Biggs as well as forward Timmy Goldman will provide analysis and insight throughout the draft. 

MASL Commissioner Keith Tozer will share the stage with host of MASL’s Under Review, Phil Lavanco, as they announce each team’s pick and welcome them to the stage for a photo opportunity with their team. 

“Last year’s draft was an exceptional event for the MASL and we are extremely proud to be able to broadcast it live for our fans this year,” said MASL Commissioner Keith Tozer. “We look forward to this weekend’s events and hope to discover the future talent we all enjoy watching compete for years to come.” 

New this year, the top overall pick will receive a one-year sponsorship deal with Capelli, an American sportswear and footwear company based in New York and presenting sponsor of the 2023 MASL Pro Player Combine. 

The MASL Pro Player Combine Classic game featuring the top rated players from Combine will begin on Sunday at 10am EST and can also be seen on the MASL’s Twitch channel.
