MASL ANNOUNCES MAJOR INDIVIDUAL POSTSEASON AWARDS.

MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin (May 4, 2019) – At the annual Ron Newman Cup Press Conference, the Major Arena Soccer League announced the winners of the 2018-2019 Major Awards. Once again, voting for the MASL postseason awards was open to all MASL players, General Managers and Head Coaches, in addition to select MASL Staff. Voting was based on regular season performance.

Molham Babouli – Mississauga MetroStars

GOALKEEPER OF THE YEAR
Boris Pardo – San Diego Sockers 

COACH OF THE YEAR
Phil Salvagio - San Diego Sockers

Also announced at the press conference were awards for the Top Three Stars and The Clutch Player (player who scores the most game-winning goals).

TOP THREE STARS:
1st Star – Franck Tayou – Monterrey Flash
2nd Star – Kraig Chiles – San Diego Sockers
3rd Star – Ian Bennett – Milwaukee Wave

The Ron Newman Cup Championship will be played tomorrow, Sunday, May 5 between the Eastern Conference Champion Milwaukee Wave and the Western Conference Champion Monterrey Flash. The game will kickoff at 5:05 p.m. CT and will be available live on Eleven Sports and Eleven Sports NEXT.
