Public Relations & Digital Content Intern: The Major Arena Soccer League is looking for a digital content intern to gain an education in the Public Relations & Digital Content department. The digital content intern will learn from the Director of Public Relations & Digital Content, Commissioner, and VP of Operations. The internship also provides education with the day to day objectives of the Marketing and Media Relations.
All MASL internships are unpaid. The internships allow the individual to gain valuable experience with a professional organization for their future in the sports, entertainment and marketing industry. Hours can be flexible to accommodate with your school or work schedule. Some nights and weekends are available. Educational credits are required.
Education to include but not be limited to:
- Creating, editing and publishing content for MASLSoccer.com and MASL Social Media and Video platforms
- Monitor site traffic and analytics for MASLSoccer.com
- Assist in developing story lines and creating social media posts
- Other duties and projects as assigned
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent communication skills
- Have a passion for covering Sports
- Interest in the digital communications industry and Content Management Systems
- Strong computer skills to include Adobe Suite, Content Management Systems, Excel, Word and Social Networking sites
- Located in close vicinity of MASL city is a plus
- Candidate should have the ability to operate remotely
- Internship for college credit is required
